Valentine Spring - Barndawooba
Valentine Spring is located 19km from Kununurra, down Valentine Spring Road (turn off Victoria Highway 12km west of Kununurra). This site has a seasonal pool that is part of the Valentine Creek, which runs into the Ord River. Local Miriwoong people traditionally used this pool for hunting, fishing, collecting bush food and camping. Occasionally Saltwater Crocodiles can be found in this area. Swimming is not recommended.
Diggers Rest Station

Mayiba (Middle Spring) is located 32km from Kununurra, down Valentines Road. This series of seasonal pools is formed by water cascading down Livistona Range during the wet season.
