Welcome to the Kununurra Visitor Centre, your friendly local hub for all things East Kimberley.
Established in 1972, we are one of the oldest and longest-running visitor centres in Australia. As a self-funded, not-for-profit organisation, we take immense pride in being here to help you make the most of your time in this incredible region. Unlike government-funded centres, we rely on your support to keep our doors open—by booking your tours and accommodation with us, you are helping us continue to provide a service that is all about you.
When you contact us, we promise a personal and unbiased approach. We do not have any preferences for one operator or product over another—our aim is simply to give you all the options and help you choose the experiences that best suit your needs. Whether you are after thrilling adventures, peaceful escapes, or a taste of local culture, we are here to guide you in planning your perfect stay.
In addition to booking services, we also stock a selection of local products, offering a sneak peek into the area's best offerings. If you are looking for more, we encourage you to explore the wonderful retailers in town.
Our team is a big part of what makes the Kununurra Visitor Centre special. With over 220 years of combined experience, we are truly local, returning year after year to share our knowledge and passion for this amazing part of the world.
So, whether you are here for a short visit or a longer stay, we are excited to welcome you to the Kununurra Visitor Centre. Let us help you create memories in one of the most beautiful places on Earth!
