Swim Beach

A freshwater swimming 'beach' on the Upper Ord River.

Located only a few kilometres to the west of Kununurra this sandy beach swimming spot is popular with locals.

Especially beautiful just before and after sunset providing great photo opportunities with the Diversion Dam within close view.

Great for families looking for somewhere safe where the kids can swim and run around.

This section of the Upper Ord River is a saltwater crocodile-controlled environment. There are freshwater crocodiles present.

An off-leash dog area is nearby.
