Incredible sandstone escarpment on the eastern end of the Gibb River Road well known for the iconic Pentecost River Crossing photographs which feature the Cockburn Ranges.

This imposing range is the most prominent landform viewed on the Gibb River Road between the Great Northern Highway and the Pentecost River. The impressive sandstone escarpment rises over 600m above the surrounding plains and offers spectacular views.
