Black Rock Falls - Thegooyeng
Overview
A beautiful waterfall/waterhole 30kms from Kununurra which epitomizes the East Kimberley region!
This waterfall is most spectacular during or early post wet season after heavy rains when the water tumbles over the black stained cliff face into the pool below and makes for excellent swimming.
Access is along the Parry Creek Road turnoff 12kms west of Kununurra off the Great Northern Highway is 4WD only and the road may be closed during the wet season and after heavy rain. Take caution if creeks are flowing after rain. Access is also possible across Ivanhoe Crossing when it is open.
